Safety Protocols for Soccer Shots Columbia classes:

• Coaches are required to take their own temperatures daily.
• Curriculum modifications to encourage greater distancing in classes
• Updated coaching best practices, including wearing face shields and sanitizing gear (balls, cones, goals, etc)
• Mini (Ages 2-3) limit of 8 children, Classic (Ages 3-5) and Premier (Ages 5-7) limit of 10 children (up to 12 when safety guidelines allow)
• Coaches have completed a Soccer Shots e-Learning Course on “Program Modifications and Safety Measures”

Parents guidelines for Soccer Shots Columbia classes:

• Wash and sanitize hands before arriving at Soccer Island (Public Programs Only)
• Adhere to state and/or local jurisdiction regarding face-covering requirements
• Practice social distancing by trying to stay 6 feet away from others that do not live in your household
• Stay home when you are sick and keep your children home from Soccer Island if they are sick
• If attending a Mini class (Ages 2-3), we ask that only one family member per child be present on Soccer Island (face covering required)

Soccer Shots will be held on Field #1 and sometimes Field #2. You can see the fields on your right as your drive into the complex.

You will see the Soccer Shots coaches wearing orange Jerseys and the big Soccer Shots Sign!

Make sure you bring water for you and your child. Please bring a lawn chair for you to sit in as there is limited seating. (Also during cold months please make sure to dress for the weather and make sure your child has their jacket.)

Children do not need to wear any special gear. They are welcome to wear soccer cleats if they want to but they are not required.

Close-toed shoes are required, however.

Children are not required to wear masks. Coaches will be wearing face coverings while coaching. We ask that parents remember to practice social distancing and wear a mask when interacting with those outside of your family. Any parent who is participating on the field alongside their child is required to wear a mask.
